SUPPORT WORKER

Play a key role in the development of our children and young people

 

Assisting with the care of students and helping to build mutually beneficial relationships within both educational and residential settings, you'll play an essential role in supporting our children and young people with the development of their social, educational and emotional abilities as they progress into maturity. You will asisst with on-site activitites, leisure trips and off-site group events. Ideally you will have previous relevant (SEN) experience, including autism and complex needs in a similar organisation and/or relevant qualifications (QCF/NVQ Level 3).

 

If you have an interest and motivation we will support you to develop your qualifications, skills and knowledge  and for some, your career in Care or work with Children and Young people.

 

Part time, term time and weekend contracts may be available

 

The Sheiling Ringwood is an independent residential special school and college for students with severe and moderate learning difficulties and disabilities.  A member of the Camphill communities, we provide education and care services within a beautiful environment where staff, whatever their job role, have the opportunity to make a holistic, real and positive difference in the lives of our students.

Salary Circa: £16,636 to £19,474 per annum

Contract: Permanent

Hours of Work: Full Time (52 weeks/40 hours per week)
