THERAPY ASSISTANT 

 

Salary: £15,388 - £18,013 (Depending upon qualifications and experience)

Contract: Permanent

Hours of Work: 37 hours per week

A new and exciting opportunity has arisen for an innovative and motivated individual to join our multi-disciplinary therapies team working with students aged 6 to 25 years.

 

The Therapy Assistant’s role is to support the delivery of programmes of care to students by undertaking a comprehensive range of administrative tasks as required by the team.   The successful candidate will support a number of therapy professions covering any combination of occupational and speech and language therapists, as well as our behaviour support team.   You will also be expected to deliver packages of care for students in group or individual sessions under the supervision of a qualified Therapist.                    

 

You will be required to possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to manage and prioritise your own workload effectively, and have a keen interest in working with children and young adults with communication difficulties and complex needs.   In return, we will provide a fantastic working environment, excellent training and development, and scope to influence in this new, but critical role.
