LUNCHTIME ASSISTANT

 

Salary Circa: £8.00 to £8.79 per hour (Depending upon qualifications and experience)

Contract: Permanent

Hours of Work: Part Time - 12.5 hours per week (12.15 - 14.45pm Monday to Friday, mainly term time)

Start Date: September 2017

Closing Date: Ongoing

Working and sharing meals with students, your role will be as a member of a multidisciplinary team helping to support and encourage students to develop and maintain social skills and relationships within the house community; helping them to achieve personal development targets. You’ll have a calm and patient disposition, highly effective communication skills and be unfazed by challenging behavior.

Previous experience in working with young people who are disabled or have Special Education Needs is advantageous but not essential as we are looking for people with enthusiasm and empathy for our students.
